Washington Healthcare (WHC) was founded to meet the growing demand for high-quality healthcare in Ethiopia. With a deep understanding of the country's healthcare needs and a commitment to improving access to quality services, WHC was established under favorable government policies promoting private sector involvement in healthcare.

WHC operates specialized secondary care health facilities in Ethiopia, including locations in Bole Rwanda, Bole Bulbula and is currently finalizing the development of its third and largest facility. These centers are managed and staffed by a diverse team of Ethiopian, American, and international doctors dedicated to delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare services. The facilities are certified by the Ministry of Health and meet the Ethiopian Standard ES 3619:2012, ensuring they meet national healthcare standards for specialty medical centers.

The company is owned and managed by a group of experienced physicians with extensive international training and expertise in healthcare management, all united in their mission to provide tailored, patient-centered care.
