Services at WHC Diagnostic Imaging
At WHC our Radiology department is staffed by full-time and part-time radiologists and assisted by radiology technicians, the radiology department assists the physicians in undertaking prescribed radiologic tests. Washington Healthcare center has a fully digital x-ray from Fujifilm-Japan, high-end multi-purpose ultrasound from GE-USA. WHC currently has completed the construction of a diagnostic center inside the medical center and is now finalizing preparations for opening a standalone diagnostic center at its premise in Bole Rwanda center.

An echocardiogram (echo) is a cardiac test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce an image of the heart during an echo test, our cardiologist uses ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves) from a hand-held probe placed on your chest to take pictures of your heart’s valves and chambers. This helps the provider evaluate the pumping action of your heart.

A colonoscopy is a test to check inside your bowels. This test can help find what's causing your bowel symptoms.
The procedure may be uncomfortable, but it shouldn't be painful. You'll receive an intravenous sedative or another form of anesthesia. Someone should drive you home after the procedure
